Weekend in Nashville

This past weekend we went to Nashville to see Cory's family and celebrate our nephews 3rd Birthday! We planned to leave Friday evening after doing James Bradford's bedtime routine (putting him in the car in his pjs), but Birmingham shut down early Friday as bad weather was on it's way into town. So we decided to wait to leave until Saturday morning. Saturday morning we arose and we got in the car right before James Bradford's first nap.

This would be James Bradford's first time crossing state lines. Woot Woot! He did great! When not sleeping - mommy sat in the back and read him books and played with him. Mommy and Daddy were so proud of his traveling skills!

Saturday afternoon we went to Trevor's Birthday party. It was so much fun! The kids dyed Easter Eggs and had an egg hunt. And it was 'Cars' themed! SO FUN!

Happy 3rd Birthday Trevor!!!

James Bradford was exhausted - as he didn't get in an afternoon nap before we went to the party. He crashed on our way home and woke up just in time for dinner.

After putting James Bradford down for bed, Cory and I snuck out to go on our 1st (yes, I said 1st) date since we had the baby! (Thank you Debbie and Nanna for letting us go out!) We went out to dinner to a nice restaurant and enjoyed our meal and wine with no worries! I told Cory that it felt like we were dating again! Ha! It was such a great evening to get out.

Sunday morning we got up and played with James Bradford. Debbie and Nanna have taken pictures of both Trevor and Caleb in this bowl. So now it was James Bradford's turn! He was so cute - he of course loved looking at himself in the mirror. Here is my favorite picture from the photo shoot!

We ended up playing hooky from church and all the Hall family came over for lunch. It was so much fun seeing everyone and chatting. And for James Bradford (and Sabrina) to be loved on!

It was such a fun weekend! And James Bradford was a super star traveler!!

Thank you Dee Dee and Nanna for having us!
